What wishes you have for the next iPhone? Wireless charging, bezel-less display, or the return of headphone jack? A report by iDrop News, claiming sources, suggests that Apple is testing two iPhone 8 prototypes, with TouchID on the back and under the screen. Also, the concept images show a front invisible camera under the screen.
The number 8 is important for both Samsung and Apple, especially after the series of events following the launch of their respective flagships 2017. While the Korean phone-maker released their new flagship last month, Apple is still fuelling the rumor mill.
In the past, a rumor suggested that Apple would be putting the TouchID sensor underneath the screen on the next iPhone. But another report invoked the possibility of the TouchID going on the backside of the device.
According to a new report by iDrop News, Apple is testing two sperate iPhone 8 versions with a different TouchID arrangement. The portal has claimed that their source had a talk with a Foxconn employee.
On the basis of the information, iDrop News has published some concept images, credited to designer Benjamin Geskin, which are to give an idea of how the iPhone 8 would look.
The concept images also point to the existence of an invisible front-camera stuff under the iPhone 8’s touchscreen. The device is expected to come with wireless charging support and dimensions similar to iPhone 7.
If you have something to add, drop your thoughts and feedback.
